DPV Coupling Platform — Wide
This dedicated coupling platform allows two Seacraft DPVs to be joined together to increase propulsion, speed and cargo capacity. The platform uses a patented quick-coupling system that connects the units simply by pushing them together and can be disconnected while wearing thick cold-water gloves.
- Increased performance: Two propellers double thrust, significantly extend driving range and can increase maximum speed (up to 120 m/min reported).
- Cargo and transport: Wide platform provides mounting points front and rear for tanks, batteries, dry containers, rebreathers, large camera/video rigs or navigation systems.
- Flexible operation: Scooters forming the platform can be momentarily disconnected; positive lift from buoyancy tubes (+290 g each) simplifies trimming in the water.
The platform is a separate element that simplifies trimming and transporting attached equipment. It is designed for Seacraft Future and Ghost DPVs and other scooters that use 160 mm or 208 mm diameter transport brackets.
