Leggings are a universal first layer wherever it can be cold or very cold. Even wet ones are warm. They are perfectly cut and so flexible that they do not restrict movement in any way. They have plenty of hip room and fit perfectly even in a sitting position (e.g. when rowing). The waist circumference can be easily adjusted – the elastic waistband has not been sewn in, but pulled into the tunnel. There is a small, light pocket at the belt.
